The ultimate summer shirt uses WNU's oversized Weekend shape in white as the blank canvas for Coe's embroidered linework of female figures, stitched in a complementary neutral thread.   • Take your normal size, intended for a slightly loose fit
  • The model in image 1 is 179cm/ 5'10.5" and wears an M (UK 10-12)
  • Back length of an M (UK 10-12) is 72.5cm/ 28.5"

Product Care

Machine wash at 30°C or below, on a regular cycle, using a liquid detergent and conditioner. 

Hang to air dry after a quick shake, and to ease the ironing effort, always hang on a hanger. If possible, avoid direct sunlight unless the fabric is white, and never tumble dry.

Ironing is optional due to the relaxed nature of the shirt but is recommended for a pressed finish. It’s an easy fabric to iron: again use medium-high heat (150-200ºC), and finish by steaming. Our shirts should be ironed inside out.

We would always recommend rolling instead of folding to help reduce wrinkles.

Great quality linen shirt

I found that linen in the "weekend" fit, although this is oversized , has a much better fit for...read moreThis is officially my first WNU shirt (I did try two shirts from them before but had to return them due to unsuitable fit - poplin and tencel in "boyfriend" fit). I found that linen in the "weekend" fit, although this is oversized , has a much better fit for someone like me with a petite frame. It drapes well and the linen material makes it easier to fold the sleeves while still giving a polished look. The stitching and tailoring is in great quality expected of WNU shirts. Having the art embroidery from Alexandria Coe is the icing on the cake. I have washed the shirt twice now and steamed to ease out the wrinkles. So far so good and it's looking as good as new! My small gripes are few: a) I got this in-store and while this is technically my first WNU purchase, I was not offered the welcome discount that I would have received if I purchased this online; and b) the two ladies who assisted me instore were both wonderful but there was one lady there who seemed disrespectful and less helpful e.g., tossing folded shirts across me into the sofa while the other lady assisting me and I were speaking to each other (I found that quite odd and unprofessional but did not let it upset me). Overall, the shirt quality is superb and the in-store experience okay. I am now contemplating and researching what my second WNU shirt will be.

Beautiful Shirt

The shirt is beautiful. The embroidery is lovely but the contrast in real life is stronger than the pictures on the website.
