The Role
The WNU Garment Technician will be reporting into the Head of Product Development and Production - working closely with the design and development teams to fulfil our mission of creating amazing quality, aspirational womenswear collections at great price points.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fit, performance and longevity of multi category garments and accessories, acting as the brand ambassador for product functionality and compliance.
You will have at least 5 years experience in a fashion brand, working across European suppliers with a strong understanding of pattern making, garment construction, testing and quality control to support on time delivery and our team quality goals.

WNU is looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about being a part of a fashion start-up. The candidate must be organised and have a creative eye. This role is predominantly within the marketing department but will also provide general support to the whole team when needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
This is a full-time role, working full time at our office in South West London, and the candidate will report to the Junior Social and Content Manager.
• Assisting with content creation, including generating ideas and editing still and moving content for brand use (Instagram, Tik Toks, Ads etc).
• Assisting with all Marketing Activations, Events and Photoshoots, including prepping the rail, capturing BTS content and being front facing.
• Assisting with press send-outs when needed, management of samples, filing of all press coverage and gifting.
This is an internship for students requiring industry experience as part of their placement year.
Essential Skills and Requirements
To be considered for the role of Creative Intern, the successful candidate must:
• Be a student at a university requiring a work placement as part of their degree.
• Have knowledge of Adobe Suite; most notably Photoshop, InDesign, and other applications..
• Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Capable of multitasking and handling a broad range of responsibilities across departments.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude with great interpersonal skills.

Working in a fashion start-up allows our interns access to all aspects of the brand, where they can learn about each department in depth.
